Toyota 4Runner: Dtc Check / Clear

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

HINT:

When DTC B1650/32 is stored as a result of troubleshooting for the airbag system, perform troubleshooting for the occupant classification system.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the DTCs by following the prompts on the screen.

Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Occupant Detection / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs by following the prompts on the screen.
