PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL ADJUSTING NUT LH

(a) Using SST and a hammer, unstake the adjusting nut.

SST: 09930-00010

(b) Using SST, remove the adjusting nut.

SST: 09318-12010

2. REMOVE FRONT AXLE WITH ABS ROTOR BEARING ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Gently fix the front axle hub in a vise between aluminum plates.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the threads of the hub bolts.

(b) Using SST, remove the bearing.

3. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB OIL SEAL LH

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the front axle hub oil seal.

4. REMOVE PLUG

(a) Using a screwdriver and hammer, remove the plug.
