PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new O-ring to the brake master cylinder sub-assembly.

(b) Install the brake master cylinder sub-assembly with 2 nuts.

Torque:

13 N·m {127 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf}

Torque:

Specified tightening torque :

20 N·m {199 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf}

HINT:

Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench (See page ).

When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 20 mm (0.787 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):
17 N*m (177 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)

(d) Attach the clamp and connect the connector.
