INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
(a) Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft assembly.
(b) Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.
Torque:
50 N·m {510 kgf·cm, 37 ft·lbf}
2. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
3. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Attach the 2 claws and 4 guides to install the steering pad switch assembly.
(b) Install the 4 screws.
Torque:
2.4 N·m {24 kgf·cm, 21 in·lbf}
(c) Connect the connector.
4. INSTALL STEERING PAD
5. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER
6. INSTALL NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable
is reconnected (See page ).
8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

1. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY
(a) Align the matchmarks on the propeller shaft flange and differential flange.
(b) Install the propeller shaft assembly with the 4 washers, 4 bolts and 4 nuts.
Torque:
