REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the propeller shaft (See page ).


2. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL


(a) Using SST, remove the oil seal.

SST: 09308-00010

3. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL

(a) Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.

(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal.

SST: 09316-60011

Standard depth:

5.4 to 5.8 mm (0.213 to 0.228 in.)


4. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the propeller shaft (See page ).


5. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

(a) Add automatic transmission fluid (See page ).
