Toyota 4Runner: Customize Parameters

CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH TECHSTREAM (REFERENCE)

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Record the current settings before customizing.

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Utility / Customize Setting.

(e) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Driver Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer

ON

If the driver side seat belt is unfastened and the vehicle is driven at approximately 20 km/h (12.5 mph) or more, the system sounds the seat belt warning buzzer.

ON or OFF

Front Passenger Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer

ON

If the front passenger side seat belt is unfastened with the front passenger seat occupied and the vehicle is driven at approximately 20 km/h (12.5 mph) or more, the system sounds the seat belt warning buzzer.
