DTC CHECK / CLEAR

HINT:

When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the Techstream to the vehicle and turn the front door courtesy light switch LH on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.

1. CHECK FOR IMMOBILISER DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check for DTCs.

2. CHECK FOR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check for DTCs.

3. CLEAR IMMOBILISER DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobiliser / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.

4. CLEAR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.
