INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply battery voltage to the brake booster pump cables, and check the operation of the pump motor.

OK::

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) voltage → Red cable terminal

Pump motor operates

Battery negative (-) voltage → Black cable terminal

If the result is not as specified, replace the brake booster pump assembly.
