PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL REAR AIRBAG SENSOR LH
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable
is reconnected (See page ).
(c) Install the rear airbag sensor with the nut.
Torque:
9.0 N·m {92 kgf·cm, 80 in·lbf}
NOTICE:
(d) Check that the rear airbag sensor is not loose.
(e) Connect the connector.

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Deck Board)

23. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable
is reconnected (See page ).
24. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light (See page ).
Transponder Chip Malfunction (B2793-B2795)
DESCRIPTION
DTC B2793 is stored when a malfunction is found in the key during key
code registration or a key code is not registered normally. Replace the
key if key code registration cannot be performed normally and this DTC is
output.
