REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FLOOR SIDE SILL STAY

(a) Install the floor side sill stay with the 6 bolts.

2. INSTALL SIDE AUTO STEP MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the bolt.

Torque:

24 N·m {245 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}

(b) Using a 6 mm hexagon wrench, install the 3 hexagon bolts and side auto step motor assembly.

Torque:

12 N·m {122 kgf·cm, 9 ft·lbf}

3. INSTALL STEP PLATE COVER LH

(a) Install a new step plate cover LH with the 2 screws.

4. INSTALL STEP PLATE COVER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as described for the step plate cover LH.
