Toyota 4Runner: Terminals Of Ecu

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

HINT:

Inspect the connector from the back side.


(a) Disconnect the F7 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Connect the F7 ECU connector.

After ignition switch turned to ON, tire pressure warning light illuminates for 3 seconds

0.9 to 3.2 V

3.2 V or higher

Tire pressure warning antenna and receiver power source

Ignition switch ON

4.5 to 5.5 V

F7-9 (GND) - Body ground

HINT:

The wavelength becomes shorter as the vehicle speed increases.

(f) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.
