INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE |
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

CHECK DTC* |
(a) Check for DTCs and make a note of any codes that are output (See page
).
(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).
(c) Recheck for DTCs (See page ). Based on the
DTCs output above, try to cause the output of the same wireless door lock control
system DTC, LIN communication system DTC, steering lock system DTC, engine immobiliser
system DTC or smart key system (for entry function) DTC by reproducing the symptoms
indicated by the DTC.

Four-wheel drive system (full-time 4WD models)
Use the four-wheel drive control switch to select the following transfer
modes:
1. H4F (high speed position)
Use this for normal driving on dry hard-surfaced roads. This position gives
greater economy, quietest ride and least wear.
2. H4L (high speed ...
