DESCRIPTION

  • DTC B2327 is stored when LIN communication between the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) and back door power window regulator motor assembly stops for 10 seconds or more.
  • DTC B2328 is stored when a malfunction in the LIN communication bus between the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) and back door power window regulator motor assembly is detected consecutively 3 times.

    No communication between the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) and back door power window regulator motor assembly for 10 seconds or more.

    B2328

    The multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) detects a malfunction in the LIN communication bus between the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) and back door power window regulator motor assembly consecutively 3 times.

NOTICE:

When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

Connect the Techstream to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.

CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs (See page ).

DTC B2327 or B2328 is not output.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU - BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR)

(a) Disconnect the W10 multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) connector.

(b) Disconnect the W9 back door power window regulator motor assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

REPLACE BACK DOOR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the back door power window regulator motor assembly with a new or normally functioning one (See page ).
